You can leave one of the address fields (e.g., the 'Delivery' field) blank if you're mass-printing envelopes that have to go to different addresses. It's best to print one envelope initially as a test to make sure that your settings are correct. If Word cannot print at all, or if Word cannot print a certain font or a certain kind of graphic, go to 'Step 2: Test Printing in Other Programs.' Step 2: Test printing in other programs The scope of the printing problem may reveal its cause.
I should have mentioned that this is from blank document, Mailings Envelopes and filling out the data. The correct setting for the MF4350D is the fifth one under Options Printing Options. I have used this component of Word for many years and have never had to remind Word what a #10 envelope looks like. Additionally, the best solution from Tech Support was to uninstall 2016 and re-install 2013. I decided to HAND-WRITE these few envelopes. I'd rather see the software FIXED, thanks very much.
Or maybe it's ME that needs to be fixed but I doubt it. Doug: Again, thanks for being here, listening and replying so promptly. I have a few thoughts: I have a newer (inkjet) printer; I would have tested it today to see if it has the same issue, but it needs an ink cartridge. Newer may be good; the manufacturer (Epson) has been quite proactive in issuing drivers and firmware updates; the Canon, great workhorse as it is, may be showing its age and Canon is clearly not blazing trails issuing new drivers for it. Rotation seems like a strange fix; the orientation is correct - it just seems to be offset an inch or more. I will play with the styles and see if it can be fixed that way.
Thanks for the suggestion. For those who haven't been working with these kinds of issues since 1988 like me.MS should note that several people with different printers have had a similar issue with printing #10 envelopes specifically, and determine whether to chime in here recommending a fix, or send the developers in to fix the problem in their program. One other thing to check is that under FileOptionsAdvancedPrint, you do not have a check mark in the box for 'Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11' paper sizes' While there may be a number of people who have this issue, I am not one of them as in a test here with Word 2016 running under Windows 10, I had no problem printing an envelope to a Samsung Multi-function Laser Printer that is probably 7 or more years old and for which I installed the driver that it is now using under Windows 10 from the CD that originally came with the printer.
